Notes For My Friends is a creative collective and community of and for spiritual homesteaders.

Notes For My Friends is here to serve the friend and point them to Jesus through stories of redemption, gift of art and creativity, and power of song. The communal emphasis is that Jesus calls us to Himself and then commissions us to make Him known. 

God graciously gave us His word so we may have communion with Him. All throughout scripture, the Lord tells us who He is. Living water, bread of life, the True Vine, shelter, tells us to tend to the fire. Part of submitting to the Simple Gospel is understanding Jesus is all of these things and that apart from Him there would be nothing. Spiritual Homesteading is an intentional practice in feeding ourselves and others in the spirit. 

The emphasis at Notes For My Friends is that Jesus calls us to Himself and THEN commissions us to make Him known. So this creative collective is a joyous huddle that goes around the room with a big grin that asks “how are you making Jesus known? What’s Jesus having you do?”
